We face some headwinds versus other sports in the area.  Lacrosse is not a KSHAA sport in Kansas, which makes it an “unfunded” club sport at every Kansas public school.  To date, it’s “pay to play” which requires each player to pay $500+ to be a part of our program.  The funds cover costs for the field time rental, the referees, the trainers, the coaches, the uniforms/equipment, etc.  We want to make lacrosse a sport that any girl can play if she is interested - just like the other sports in our community.
